So, everyone is publishing their “Best of 2008” lists now—I thought I would post mine. Here’s my list of best events in 2008 and worst events of 2008, ranked in the order that they most impacted my life.

The Best events of 2008:

1. Jenny came onto the scene.
2. My car burned up, forcing me to ride my bike.
3. Obama chose Joe Biden as his running mate.
4. Every day became Jeans Day at Alltel.
5. Alltel got bought, which will eventually put me out of a job.
6. I found a new creative outlet in the form of this Tumblr.
7. The amount of nieces I have tripled.
8. Trip to New York City.
9. Ashley and I got tattoos in Laughlin, Nevada.
10. Trip to Aruba.

The Worst events of 2008

1. Parkway Automotive totally screwed Ashley.
2. My car burned up.
3. Jenny got a tapeworm.
4. Alltel got bought, which will eventually put me out of a job.
5. I gained weight for the first time in a while.
6. I lost to Jim Green in the finals of the Beebe Community Tennis tournament, again.
7. I remembered exactly how scared of large bodies of water I am.
8. Anne Pressly got Anne Presslied.
9. I had a bicycle wreck.
10. I got Salmonella.
